Family Centered Care
Children's Medical Services strives to provides family centered care to all children and youth with special health care needs. Family centered care is care that is provided in your community and is coordinated between all your different doctors and healthcare providers. Family-centered care also understands and values your family's cultural beliefs and customs.
Family centered care is based on the belief that a child and his or her family are the most important members of a child's health care team. CMS trusts families to make good decisions for their children and be partners in providing care that will help their children grow up healthier.
