Poison Information Centers

The Florida Poison Information Center Network (FPICN), which was created in 1989 by an act of the Florida Legislature (Section 395.038This link opens in a new window!, Florida Statutes), consists of Poison Centers in Tampa, Jacksonville, and Miami; and a data center located in Jacksonville. These three nationally accredited poison centers provide emergency services to the entire state and are operational 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The Poison Information Centers provide information regarding poison exposures to consumers and health practitioners throughout Florida.
