Poison Information Centers

The Florida Poison Information Center Network (FPICN), which was created in 1989 by an act of the Florida Legislature (Section 395.038, Florida Statutes), consists of Poison Centers in Tampa, Jacksonville, and Miami; and a data center located in Jacksonville. These three nationally accredited poison centers provide emergency services to the entire state and are operational 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The Poison Information Centers provide information regarding poison exposures to consumers and health practitioners throughout Florida.
