Welcome to the Early Hearing Detection & Intervention Program!

The Infant Hearing Program believes the early identification and intervention of hearing loss should be available to all infants who are deaf or hard of hearing. We are dedicated to providing unbiased support to families with children who are deaf or hard of hearing. We provide information about deaf and hard of hearing issues to parents and professionals that include educational seminars and workshops, advocacy, educational publications, a lending library, and a link to early intervention. We strive to connect families with resources and information to make informed decisions around the issues of deafness and hearing loss.

For information regarding detection and parent related issues please contact Ann_Filloon@doh.state.fl.us.

For information regarding Intervention and Audiology related issues please contact Karen_Anderson@doh.state.fl.us.
