Navigating the ModulesThis page describes how to navigate the modules. On the left side of this screen are links for each of the modules. Please select from this menu. When you select a module, you will be taken to that module’s home page. From this page you will be able to link to the different topics covered in this module, as well as the module self-assessment and feedback form. A link refers to a hyperlink, that when selected with a mouse or other computer interface tool, brings you to another page or location in the document. Links are indicated in this course with an underlined word. Some parts of each lesson have audio recording, indicated by the following image (this image works like any tape player). You must click the arrow Users must have speakers and they must be on in order to listen to the narration. However, audiovisual functionality is not required to complete the lesson, since all of these links are also transcribed. Some parts of each lesson have Flash video presentations indicated by the following image (the controls work like any tape player). The video content can be enlarged by right-clicking on the video and selecting 'Zoom In' from the list of choices. Once enlarged, you can use the 'hand' icon to position the video content. Alternately, you can reduce the video to it's original size by right-clicking on the video and selecting 'Zoom Out'.
Some of the links are Adobe Acrobat files (PDF file format). You may need to download Adobe Acrobat to be able to read these files from the left menu. Once you complete reading the PDF page, close it by clicking on the "Back to Lesson" link at the bottom of the page. Modules will have a navigation menu across the top and bottom as indicated below. All you need to do is to click on the link where you want to go. Note that "close" will totally close the lesson's window that you were studying. The other links at the bottom of the page indicate the previous/next page, or the module home.
