The Child Protection Team, District 12, is located at the Children's Advocacy Center of Volusia and Flagler Counties. We have two physical locations with the main one being at 344 South Beach Street, Daytona Beach, Florida. Located in a historic house in downtown Daytona the CPT offers a full array of intervention services for victims of child abuse to include video-taped forensic interviews, physical and sexual abuse exams, psychosocials, psychologicals, team staffings and case coordination. We also have a Westside office in Deland, at 145 West Wisconsin. All services except for exams are currently offered at this location.

The Child Protection Team works closely with Department of Children & Families, local law enforcement, and other community agencies to ensure coordination and timely response to child abuse investigations. The outpatient department, which is also located at the Advocacy Center can continue the process once CPT has completed their assessment and referred the child victim and their family for counseling. A family advocate is also available to provide follow up services for the family and any needed referrals to other agencies. The hours are Monday through Friday, 8 to 5, with after hours emergency services provided to DCF and law enforcement. Telephone for Daytona office is (386) 238-3830, and for Deland is (386) 736-6641.
